23:00 (2017)

"23:00" was choreographed in 2017 after a tumultuous 2016 election. The group choreography represents frustration, anger, group thought, organization, and, at one point, literally trying to pick sides. The soloist represents the fragility of freedom and American democracy. She is shrouded and entangled in a constantly divided society. If she is not free, the ideals of this society will remain in danger.
